University of Liverpool and NSG Group formalise partnership
The University of Liverpool and NSG Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalise their partnership and further develop opportunities for collaboration.
he MoU was signed at a ceremony in the University of Liverpool’s Materials Innovation Factory (MIF) where the award of an Honorary Visiting Professorship to Professor Su Varma, NSG Group Academic Director of the R&D Incubator, was also celebrated.
Under the MoU, the University and NSG Group will explore new opportunities for collaboration with a strong focus on digital materials discovery to address key challenges including sustainability.
The new agreement builds on a longstanding partnership between the two organisations who have worked together for more than 15 years on a range of research topics including furnace performance optimisation, solar cells, antimicrobial coatings and more recently work to accelerate materials discovery in partnership with the MIF.
