Matt Rosseinsky (http://www.liv.ac.uk/chemistry/Staff/rosseinsky.html) is Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Liverpool. He works on the discovery and characterisation of advanced functional materials, using the full range of modern techniques. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society, and was awarded the first De Gennes Prize in Materials Chemistry by the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2009.
