Reliable Sample Analysis
• Matrix assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) is a soft ionization technique, allowing for mass analysis of non-fragmented molecular ions: ideally suited to characterisation of organic macromolecules (polymers, dendrimers, biomolecules etc.).
• Pulsed extraction of ions from the MALDI source, combined with the unique curved reflectron field, provide improved focusing and mass resolution over broad mass ranges for generation of more accurate data.
• Software driven target stage gives accurate sample positioning and laser focus; software scanning mode identifies sample “sweet spots”; post-analysis processing software for data optimisation.
• Patented beam blanker allows for optional removal of unwanted low mass ions and prevention of detector saturation.
